Great company to work for. I truly enjoyed working for Patterson Uti. It was a team environment, and it felt more like family than coworkers. Every bought into working safe, but still getting the job done on time. We accomplished a lot on my rig and recieved several bonus checks for completing the wells early.

The Floorhand is responsible for pipe handling, casing and drilling equipment on the drill floor as well as carrying out maintenance on the equipment. The Floorhand also makes and breaks rotary connections using rig tongs, handles tubular goods, elevators and slips, and operates semi-automated pipe-handling machines.
